Access to and use of this website is conditional upon your acceptance of these terms and conditions.

These conditions apply to all tours carried out under the auspices of VisitSriLanka.Travel. All prices are quoted in US Dollars. Please read these conditions carefully before making a booking. Any use of the web site, or written communication with VisitSriLanka.Travel for the purposes of travel arrangements, confirms that you are aged 18 or over and that you fully accept these booking conditions.

All information provided by you should be true and accurate and would be treated confidentially.

Tour Contract

On confirmation of a booking, you are deemed to have entered into a contract the terms of our booking conditions, which are governed by the existing laws in Sri Lanka.

Pet Policy

No pets allowed.

Methods of Payment

Payments for full or part payment for the travel arrangements may be made either by
1) bank transfer
Or
2) credit card

If paid via bank transfer, all additional bank charges and fees related to the transfer will be borne by you.

If paying by credit card you can pay throught the secure internet payment gateway facility available on our Web site.

Payment Schedule

Full Payment for the Accommodation must be paid 60 days before to the arrival date.

The balance payment must be paid by you in Sri Lanka before the tour Start.

Cancellation Policy

  • No fee for cancellations before 45 days - All refunds will subject to bank charges
  • 50% of Advance fee is charged if cancelled within 31 - 44 days of arrival.
  • 75% of Advance fee is charged if cancelled within 15 - 30 days of arrival.
  • 100% Advance fee is charged if cancelled within 14 days of arrival.
  • Bookings made during 15th December to 15th January will be non-refundable.

Our Liabilities & Limitations

Numerous factors such as weather, road conditions, the physical ability of the participants or other reason may dictate itinerary changes either before or while on tour. We reserve the right to change any schedule in the interests of the tour participants safety and comfort.

We shall not be responsible for any delays and alterations in the programme or expenses incurred directly or indirectly due to natural hazards, flight cancellations, and breakdown of transport, weather, sickness, political instability or any other incidents beyond our control.

We will not be held responsible for any losses incurred, injury or damage to person or property or otherwise in connection with any accommodation, transportation or other services, resulting directly or indirectly from fire, accident, breakdown of machinery & equipment, wars, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferages, Medical epidemics, Sri Lankan customs department regulations, defaults, or any other causes beyond our control.

Our insurance policy does not cover your expenses related to any accident, sickness, loss due to theft, or any other reasons, unless our negligence is proven. Visitors are advised to seek such insurance arrangements in their home country. All baggage and personal property at all times are at the client's risk.

We accept responsibility for ensuring the holidays which you book with us are supplied as described and that the services we are contractually obliged to provide are to a reasonable standard.

There may be instances where alternative accommodation or services may need to be provided, in such instances we will ensure this is of a similar or superior standard.

Travel Insurance

You are strongly recommended to take out personal travel insurance, at the time of booking, for all members of your party.

Breakages And Damages

You will be responsible for any breakages, losses or damage caused by you or a member of your party during your stay in the accommodation.

Behaviour

You are responsible for compliance with all relevant regulations governing carriage by air or any other mode of transport and your stay during your holiday. We shall not be responsible for any costs or claims that are incurred.

Complaints

We would wish to resolve any reasonable complaint that we receive relating to the standard of service or accommodation arrangements.

If your complaint cannot be resolved locally you must follow this up by writing a formal complaint letter to us within 14 days of your return home.

Force Majuro

Force Majuro is defined as situation such as acts of god, storms, fire, war, civil war, military action, government emergency orders, stop-order or strike as well as transportation accident, earthquake, tidal waves etc or other similar events beyond its control. VisitSriLanka.Travel shall inform within 24 hours to the customer is inability perform due Force Majure situation.

Validity

The above terms and condition are valid from the 1st of September 2022.
